SAN FRANCISCO — The California-based Courage Campaign has commissioned a new billboard at Fisherman’s Wharf that calls on Congress to impeach President Trump. The billboard, which will read “IMPEACH” with a photo of President Trump, starts its run on October 15 and will run through October 21. The billboard effort comes as House Democrats launch a new phase of their impeachment inquiry and as former Ambassador Kurt Volker, until recently a top State Department representative to Ukraine, is scheduled to meet with investigators.
The billboard will go up as a direct result of donations made by Californians who stand with Courage Campaign on its demand for the impeachment of the President.

“Since the very beginning of his presidency, Donald Trump has committed innumerable, impeachable offenses — from violating the Constitution’s emoluments clause to openly admitting that he fired FBI Director James Comey in order to obstruct the Russia investigation. Now, after using his position as President to blackmail Ukrainian leaders to manufacture political dirt on the Biden family, the case for the impeachment of Donald Trump on legal grounds is a no-brainer,” said Eddie Kurtz, Executive Director of Courage Campaign. “Our national nightmare must end. Trump must be impeached now.”
In the summer of 2017, Courage Campaign erected the same infamous “IMPEACH” billboard on the Bay Bridge. When they tried to put it up on the Bay Bridge again this year, Outfront Media told Courage Campaign that the Bay Bridge billboard no longer runs political ads, resulting in the move to Fisherman’s Wharf.
Courage Campaign’s petition to impeach Trump now has more than 103,000 signatures. Additionally, a new Fox News Poll has found that 51% of Americans believe the House of Representatives should vote to impeach President Donald Trump.
