Courage Campaign Challenges CA GOP To Dump Norquist
As major Republican leaders defect from Grover Norquist’s infamous anti-tax pledge in light of the fiscal cliff negotiations, Courage Campaign is challenging California’s GOP representatives to follow their lead and put their constituents ahead of their pledge to Norquist. With nearly 60% of CA voters backing President Obama, and roughly 55% voting for Prop 30 this November mandating that the top 2% of Californians pay more taxes, Calfornia GOP representatives Jeff Denham (R-Fresno) and Buck McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) find themselves under intense scrutiny.
