Courage Campaign Demands CPUC President Step Down Over Improper Communications with PG&E

Statement of Dr. Paul Song, executive chair of the California-based Courage Campaign:

“These latest developments prove what many of us have long suspected, PG&E and the California Public Utilities Commission have an incestuous and dangerous relationship. The public can no longer trust the CPUC to protect public safety, and its senior leadership must resign immediately. Only through new leadership, a full investigation, and the public release of every email communication between the CPUC and PG&E since the San Bruno disaster will the regulator be able to restore the public’s trust. And we call on the California Attorney General to launch an immediate investigation “
