Carrying signs with such messages as “Trump Not My President” and chanting, “This is what democracy looks like,” hundreds of people gathered in Palm Desert’s Civic Center Park Monday afternoon, marking the Presidents Day holiday with a rally against the country’s current leader. The near two-hour rally at the park amphitheater was one of several “Not My President’s Day” events held nationwide in protest of President Donald Trump’s proposed policies.
