Skywriter Plane To Fly Over Federal Building In Vegas Starting At 2p With Message: “REID: SAY NO 2 NRA”
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – With Majority Leader Reid leaving key elements of sensible gun control out of the Senate bill, CourageCampaign.org, joined by CREDO Action, will fly a plane over the Federal Building in Las Vegas tomorrow with a message demanding that Harry Reid stand-up to the National Rifle Association.
The skywriting plane will take to the sky at 2:00pm and will write “Reid: say no 2 NRA” over the federal building in Las Vegas.
The groups are responding to Majority Leader Reid refusing to put the Assault Weapons Ban and the ban on high capacity magazines in the bill the Senate will be debating once it comes back from recess.
“Everyday people are dying in this country because of inaction in Washington on sensible gun control,” said Rick Jacobs, the head of the CourageCampaign.org. “Unfortunately, the water-downed bill proposed by Harry Reid will do little to curb gun violence in the this country. It is far past time that Harry Reid, and his colleagues, stand up to the NRA and protect children instead of protecting gun manufactures.”
