Did you know you can still be fired for being gay in 29 states and for being transgender in 33 states? The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) would ban discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace. ENDA just passed the Senate with a bipartisan majority and Speaker Boehner at least needs to allow an up-or-down vote in the House of Representatives, even if he doesn’t support the bill himself.
