Sprouts Farmers Market (Sprouts) is one of the largest national grocery stores — operating over 200 stores, many of them in California — that cares about sustainability. So awesome! Oh wait, too bad it’s not fully true!
The sad reality is that Sprouts sells bottles of Nestlé’s Arrowhead Springs water — the same water Nestlé pumps illegally from California’s drought-stricken San Bernardino National Forest using a permit that expired over 25 years ago. How can Sprouts call this practice green?!
